RGAP at END Gallery, Sheffield Hallam University
An exhibition of contemporary artists' books
8th – 18th January 2008

The books and multiples on display in this exhibition are largely drawn from the archive and collection held by RGAP, together with examples from publishers both in the UK and abroad with whom RGAP has collaborated over a number of years including Coracle (Tipperary), Colin Sackett (Axminster), Éditions Héros-Limite (Geneva), and Boekie Woekie (Amsterdam).

You are invited to the Private View on Thursday 10th January at 6pm

During the Private View there will be a screening of highlights from readings by artists who have participated in previous RGAP events:

Christian Bök
Christian Bök has earned many accolades not only for his writing, but also for his stunning virtuoso performances of sound poetry - particularly the Ursonate by Kurt Schwitters. Filmed at the Small Publishers Fair, London

Ian Breakwell
Excerpts from Ian Breakwell reading from “Derby Days” in the very studio at Derby College of Art where he began his art training.

Eugen Gomringer
The founder of ‘concrete poetry’ reading from his works, at an enthralling event at the Small Publishers Fair, London in 2007

Alongside the exhibition there will be a small ‘bookfair’ featuring many works from RGAP and other artists-publishers with whom RGAP works closely. All books here are for sale.
